KANALEX
Duct for the Protection of Underground Cables
Kanalex is a corrugated "Helix" flexible duct, produced by extrusion of HDPE (high density polyethylene), used for underground energy and telecom cabling protection, designed to resist the mechanical tensile strenght and underground soil chemicals.
Launched in Japan in 1981 and 1984 in Brazil obtained quick recognition from the energy and telecom carriers in Brazil, mainly due to its flexibility and resistance, elimining the nees of concrete enveloping in the duct banks.
Meets the standards:
º ABNT NBR 15.715 - Sistemas de dutos corrugados de polietileno (PE) para infraestrutura de cabos de energia e telecomunicações - Requisitos, (Corrugated duct system of polyetylene (PE) for infrastructure of cables for energy and telecommunications - Requirements);
º ABNT NBR 13.897 - Duto Espiralado Corrugado, em Polietileno de Alta Densidade para uso Metroferroviário - Especificação e 13.898 - Método de ensaio. (Flexible winding duct made by high density PE, for railway application).
